After creating “My Little Book of Dragons” with my son, I wondered what would happen next. I was not sure. My friend, Horst, suggested that perhaps I should compile my cat drawings and put them all into a new book, the Book of Cats. I thought this would be an excellent idea - people love cats… However, I did not have any concept of a story I would tell. But Horst saw no problem - he already had the story :).

Horst has been helping me with the art markets for a while now, and he got the idea of creating stories for some of my drawings, which he would tell any customer who would listen :). This is how his “Victor, the Cat” story came to be - and this is precisely the story that you can now read in “The Little Book of Cats” and the sequel - “The Little Book of Cats - 2”.
